First of all, let me start by saying welcome to the forum! I hope you have lots of fun here. This thread will give you all the information you need to know. If, however, there is anything not on this tutorial, just PM me and I will answer any question you have.
Getting Started:
If you're new to RolePlaying and this forum, you may be comfused of what you do here. At this website, you RolePlay. That means you pick a character from a show (Ex. Hannah Montana, The Suite Life) and start stories with your character. Other people will read your story and make up small parts of it with the character they have. To claim a Character, first pick the character you want, that must be available. When you pick which one you want, go to the category 'Disney Channel RolePlay' or 'Disney Channel Original Movie RolePlay.' Next, find the show/movie your character is from. Once you find that, click on it. Then lots of different threads will come up. Find the one that says 'Claim A Character'. Then go all the way down and type in the Quick Reply box which character you want to claim. After that, you're done, and you can start RolePlaying!
How to Post
To post, go to whatever category you want (ex. Disney Channel RolePlay.) Then, click the board you want (ex. Hannah Montana). Then at the bottom there is a 'Quick Reply' box. Type whatever you want in there, then click the button under that that says 'Post'. Then you're done!
Mail Center
You can also send and recieve mail. Just do it by going to the top where it says '0 messages'. Then, just type in the person you want to send it to. Then type in the message, click send, and you're done! To check mail, click 'home' until you see '1 message' or more. Then click that, click the message and read it. To reply to it, click the 'Reply' button.
Profile, Avatars & Siggies:
Once you Claim Your Character and get started, you can start by modifying your profile. For Example, if you play Edwin from Life With Derek, you can write in your Signature:

To do this, go all the way to the top where it says 'Profile'. Click that, and then there will be different choices. Click the choice 'Modify Profile'. Once you do that, go down to where it says 'Signature' and type what you want. You can also put in a picture. You will need Photobucket or another imaging host service to do this, however. To do that, paste your 'IMG' link from your image hosting server of whatever picture you want.
Chat Box:
All the way at the bottom, there is a chat box, so you can talk to other people that go on this site as well. Just type in your name, your message, and (optional) email/url.
How do I get Bold, Italics & Other on my replies?
If you want a way so that there is bold, italic and other on your replies for RolePlaying, do not use quick reply. Instead, at the bottom of the page right under the last post, click the button that says 'Reply.' A page will come up where you type and decide other information about that post.
Other Members are Being Mean:
If other players are not following the rules and are being mean, please PM me (Lymon), HSMgal or disneychannel (admin)
Rules:
You must follow the rules at all times. They are located under the 'General' Category, and in the thread 'Rules.' If you do not follow the rules, it will lead to:
1.) Don't Follow Rules - Warning
2.) Don't Follow Rules Again - 2 day banning
3.) Again, you don't follow the rules - Week Banning
The reason we have rules is so that everyone can have a fun and enjoyable time at this site. If another person is not following the rules and is ruining it for others, they aren't having a good time.
